Translation

This book, “The Unveiling of the Disguise of Abu al-Hasan al-Subki,” is a study in the Islamic faith in which its author, Muhammad bin Hussein al-Faqih, discusses the life and thoughts of Abu al-Hasan al-Subki. The book focuses on discussing Al-Subki’s doctrine of visiting graves and refuting it, relying on a detailed account of the jurist’s life, upbringing, knowledge, and writings. It also addresses the issue of distinguishing between established beliefs and disparate schools of jurisprudence, and urges unity in belief despite differences in the branches of jurisprudence.
