هذا الكتاب هو رد من الشيخ عبد الرحمن بن حسن آل الشيخ على ورقة كتبها عبد المحمود الكشميري تناولت معنى كلمة التوحيد. يركز المؤلف على توضيح مفهوم كلمة التوحيد ونفي أي معنى مجازي أو مفهوم كلي لها، مؤكدًا أن المنفي بكلمة التوحيد هو كل ما عبد من دون الله. كما يرد على بعض الأقوال التي تحاول تفسير كلمة التوحيد بطريقة تحرف معناها الأصلي، ويؤكد على وجوب إخلاص العبادة لله وحده دون نظير.

Translation

This book is a response from Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Hassan Al Sheikh to a paper written by Abdul Mahmoud Al Kashmiri that dealt with the meaning of the word monotheism. The author focuses on clarifying the concept of the word monotheism and denying any metaphorical meaning or comprehensive concept for it, stressing that what is denied by the word monotheism is everything that is worshiped other than God. It also responds to some statements that attempt to interpret the word monotheism in a way that distorts its original meaning, and emphasizes the necessity of sincerity of worship to God alone without equal.
