A message about the Qur’an and the word of God

This is a treatise on faith by Imam Muwaffaq al-Din bin Qudamah al-Maqdisi, dealing with the issue of the Qur’an and the word of God Almighty, which is one of the greatest issues in which disagreement occurred among the nation. In it, the author explains the belief of the nation’s predecessors and imams that the Qur’an is the revealed, uncreated word of God, and he responds to the Jahmiya and Mu’tazila sects who believed in the creation of the Qur’an, as well as to the “verbalists” who said that our words in the Qur’an are created, conveying the sayings of the imams in declaring them to be infidels and slandering them.
