Translation

This book, “Aqd al-Durar fi Akhbar al-Muntazer,” by Sheikh Yusuf bin Yahya al-Sulami, deals with the topic of the Awaited Mahdi from a doctrinal perspective and modern jurisprudence. The author focuses on the Mahdi’s descendants and characteristics, discusses the Prophetic hadiths related to him, and reviews the temptations that will occur before his appearance and how to prepare for his appearance. He also talks about the blessings that will happen to him during his caliphate, and ends by mentioning the temptations that will occur after the end of his term. The book aims to clarify the characteristics of the Mahdi, his appearance, and how to prepare for his appearance according to the hadiths of the Prophet.
