Translation

This is the second study in the series “Studies on the Discussion of the Unification of Names and Attributes,” and it is entitled “The Belief of the Sunnis and the Community in the Most Beautiful Names of God.” The author, Muhammad bin Khalifa Al-Tamimi, aims to address the issue of the names of God in detail, after dealing with it in general in the first study. The author focuses on important topics related to this issue, and seeks to collect, arrange and formulate what has been scattered throughout the books. The author begins with an introduction that monitors the positions of the sects regarding the Most Beautiful Names of God, then moves to the first chapter, which deals with the confirmation and designation of the names. This chapter includes four sections, in each of which the author focuses on specific topics, such as knowing the criteria for the beautiful names, people’s approaches to enumerating the beautiful names, people’s approaches to specifying the beautiful names, and the efforts of scholars in collecting the beautiful names. The author aims to clarify the belief of the Sunnis and the community in the Most Beautiful Names of God, and to explain the evidence that supports this belief.
