Notes on the book The Doctrine of the Predecessors and Successors

This book is a collection of critical notes written by Abd al-Qadir bin Habibullah al-Sindhi as a comment on another book entitled “The Doctrine of the Predecessors and the Successors.” These notes included a warning against the author of the original book mixing and confusing the doctrine of the predecessors and the doctrine of the successors, while directing criticism for not achieving it and distinguishing between them. At the beginning of his book, the author reviews an opinion issued by the Dean of the Faculty of Hadith at the Islamic University advising against reading the aforementioned book to young students. Then he begins to detail the reasons for this ruling and discuss the methodological and scientific errors contained in the book.
