هذا كتاب في بيان حقيقة الأعياد في الإسلام وموقفها من أعياد غير المسلمين، يبدأ باستعراض أعياد اليهود والنصارى والمجوس والعرب في الجاهلية وعاداتهم فيها، ثم ينتقل إلى بيان مشروعية مخالفة الكفار والأدلة على تحريم التشبه بهم في أعيادهم، ويختتم بتحديد الأعياد الشرعية الزمانية والمكانية في الإسلام وبيان ما اشتملت عليه من خصال حميدة تغني المسلمين عن غيرها.
Translation
This is a book explaining the truth about the holidays in Islam and its position on the holidays of non-Muslims. It begins by reviewing the holidays of the Jews, Christians, Magians, and Arabs in pre-Islamic times and their customs therein. Then it moves on to explaining the legitimacy of disobeying the infidels and the evidence for the prohibition of imitating them in their holidays. It concludes by specifying the legal holidays in time and place in Islam and explaining the good qualities they contain that enrich Muslims over others.
