الزهر النضر في حال الخضر كتاب في العقيدة، يبحث فيه مؤلفه الإمام ابن حجر العسقلاني (773هـ- 852هـ) بمسألة نبوة الخضر، ونسبهُ وما ورد في تعميره وهل هو متوفى أم لا، وقد أفاد ابن حجر من الكتب التي سبقته عن هذا الموضوع ككتاب «ابن المنادى» وقد اطلع عليها ابن حجر ونقلها إلى كتابه بعد أن أضاف إلى مادتها أشياء كثيرة ظفر بها بعد طول التتبع، مفصلاً القول فيما كان قد أجمله عند الحديث عن الخضر في كتابه «الإصابة في تمييز الصحابة».

Translation

Al-Zahr al-Nadr fi Hal al-Khidr is a book on faith, in which its author, Imam Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani (773 AH - 852 AH), discusses the issue of the prophecy of al-Khidr, his lineage, what was mentioned in his development, and whether he was deceased or not. Ibn Hajar reported from the books that preceded him on this subject, such as the book “Ibn al-Munaadi.” Ibn Hajar reviewed it and transferred it to his book after adding to its material many things that he found after a long follow-up, detailing the statement regarding He had summed it up when talking about Al-Khidr in his book “Al-Isabah fi Taymiz Al-Sahaba.”
