هذا كتاب يجمع الأحاديث والآثار النبوية المتعلقة بالفتن التي تهيج من جهة العراق، ويدرس صلة ذلك بالفتن المعاصرة التي عصفت بالمنطقة. يبدأ المؤلف ببيان أن الفتن تخرج من المشرق عامة والعراق خاصة، ثم يتناول بالتفصيل طرق الأحاديث الواردة في ذلك وشواهدها، ويرد على فرية نسبت إلى بعض النصوص. يخصص الكتاب فصولاً لدراسة الفتن وضروبها وزمنها، ويركز على ظاهرة الخوارج وعلاقتها بالعراق، متتبعاً امتدادها إلى فتن معاصرة كفتنة جهيمان في الحرم المكي، وفتنة حماة، وفتنة الجزائر، مع مناقشة فتاوى العلماء في تلك الأحداث.

Translation

This is a book that collects hadiths and prophetic traditions related to the temptations that are raging on the part of Iraq, and studies the connection between that and the contemporary temptations that have ravaged the region. The author begins by explaining that temptations originate from the East in general and Iraq in particular. Then he discusses in detail the methods and evidence of the hadiths mentioned in this matter, and responds to a slander attributed to some texts. The book devotes chapters to studying temptations, their types and timing, and focuses on the phenomenon of the Kharijites and their relationship with Iraq, tracing its extension to contemporary temptations such as the temptation of Juhayman in the Great Mosque of Mecca, the temptation of Hama, and the temptation in Algeria, with a discussion of the fatwas of scholars on those events.
