هذا الكتاب هو بحث في القاعدة الفقهية الكبرى "لا ضرر ولا ضرار"، حيث يبدأ المؤلف بتخريج الحديث النبوي الذي تُبنى عليه هذه القاعدة، ويسوق طرقه وأسانيده المختلفة مع مناقشة صحتها. ثم ينتقل الكتاب إلى تطبيق هذه القاعدة على جملة من المسائل الفقهية والأحكام العملية، مثل أحكام الوصية، والحضانة، وحقوق الزوجين، ومسائل البيع كالتورق والعينة، وبيان ضوابط استعمال الحقوق وعدم الإضرار بالغير.

Translation

This book is an investigation into the major jurisprudential rule, “No harm, no harm,” where the author begins by summarizing the Prophetic hadith on which this rule is based, and presents its various methods and chains of transmission with a discussion of their authenticity. The book then moves on to apply this rule to a number of jurisprudential issues and practical rulings, such as the rulings on wills, custody, the rights of spouses, and sales issues such as tawarruq and ‘inah, and an explanation of the controls for using rights and not harming others.
