Translation

This book is by Imam Al-Harith Al-Muhasibi, and it deals with various topics in Islamic jurisprudence and ethics, including permissible and forbidden gains, piety in transactions and behavior, and doubts in actions and etiquette. The author focuses on explaining the doctrines of the predecessors on these topics, and refers to God’s ruling in prohibiting some gains and the necessity of piety in transactions, while emphasizing the importance of adhering to what is permissible and staying away from what is forbidden. The book aims to guide Muslims towards correct behavior in their professional and financial lives, based on the Prophet’s hadiths and Qur’anic verses.
