In his book “A Tour of the Books of Songs and the Yamani Sword,” Sheikh Muhammad Al-Majzoub presents an in-depth critical research on the book “Al-Aghani” by the expert Abu Al-Faraj Al-Isfahani, examining the facts and fabrications contained in the book. Al-Majzoub focuses on revealing the malicious methodology followed by the songwriter, and discusses his impact on shaping the historical image of the Abbasid era and beyond. The book also addresses the contradictions of the songs and its accusations against prominent historical figures, and also reviews the school of criticism that arose around this book.
