هذه رسالة موجزة في بيان الدماء الطبيعية التي تصيب النساء، وهي الحيض والاستحاضة والنفاس، وأحكامها الشرعية. يوضح المؤلف معنى كل نوع وحكمته ومدته، ثم يشرح أحكام الحيض المتعلقة بالصلاة والصيام والطواف والجماع وغيرها، ثم يتناول الاستحاضة وأحكامها، والنفاس ومدته وأحكامه، ويختم ببيان حكم استعمال ما يمنع الحيض أو يجلبه أو يمنع الحمل أو يسقطه، معتمداً في ذلك على الكتاب والسنة.

Translation

This is a brief message explaining the natural bleeding that affects women, namely menstruation, istihaadah, and postpartum, and its legal rulings. The author explains the meaning of each type, its wisdom, and its duration, then explains the rulings on menstruation related to prayer, fasting, circumambulation, intercourse, and others. Then he discusses istihaadah and its rulings, post-partum bleeding, its duration, and rulings. He concludes by explaining the ruling on using something that prevents menstruation or brings it on, or prevents or aborts pregnancy, relying in this on the Qur’an and Sunnah.
