Translation
The book “Uncovering the Secrets in Prohibiting Women from Visiting Graves” by Sheikh Hammad Al-Ansari is a study of the controversial jurisprudential issue regarding the ruling on women visiting graves. The author aims to explain the rights that a Muslim must adhere to, relying on authentic texts that he believes prohibit women from visiting at all, and discusses and responds to the evidence of those who permit it. The book deals with the differences of scholars on the issue, and investigates the chains of transmission of the hadiths contained therein, especially the hadith about “female visitors to graves” and “visitors of graves,” and quotes the words of the imams of investigation in this regard.
