حدود العالم من المشرق إلى المغرب هو كتاب جغرافيا باللغة الفارسية، نُشر في القرن العاشر لمؤلف مجهول من قوزقان الواقعة الآن في شمال أفغانستان. كتبه سنة 372 هـ مؤلف مجهول الاسم باللغة الفارسية ولكن مع الاتصال بالعلم العربي ولم يصلنا الكتاب إلا عبر مخطوطة وحيدة عثر عليها المستشرق الروسي تومانسكي. ولا نعرف عن الكاتب إلا أنه كان على علاقة ببلاط أبي الحارث محمد بن أحمد فريغون حاكم الجوزجان. نشر المتن الفارسي مع مقدمة المستشرق فاسيلي بارتولد سنة 1930 م. نقلها إلى الإنكليزية مينورسكي سنة 1937 م. بعنوان مناطق العالم كما نقله من الفارسية إلى العربية يوسف الهادي، وصدرت الطبعة الأولى سنة 1419 هـ / 1999 م. …
Translation
The Boundaries of the World from the East to the West is a Persian-language geography book, published in the 10th century by an anonymous author from Cossacks, now located in northern Afghanistan. It was written in the year 372 AH by an unknown author in the Persian language, but with contact with Arabic scholarship. The book did not reach us except through a single manuscript found by the Russian orientalist Tumansky. We do not know about the writer except that he had a relationship with the court of Abu al-Harith Muhammad ibn Ahmad Farijun, the ruler of Jawzjan. The Persian text was published with an introduction by the orientalist Vasily Barthold in 1930 AD. It was translated into English by Minorsky in 1937 AD. Titled Regions of the World, as translated from Persian to Arabic by Yusuf Al-Hadi, the first edition was published in 1419 AH / 1999 AD. …
