The book “The Journey of Ibn Battuta,” called “The Masterpiece of the Oddities of the Lands and the Wonders of Travel,” presents its author Ibn Battuta’s travels and visits to various cities and countries throughout the Islamic world in the Middle Ages. The book provides a detailed description of mosques and historical and cultural monuments, mentioning stories and events related to those places.
