نزهة المشتاق في اختراق الآفاق أو كتاب روجر كتاب من كتب الرحلات ألفه الإدريسي، ويعتبر هذا الكتاب موسوعة جغرافية للعالم في القرن الثاني عشر. ألَف الإدريسي هذا الكتاب للملك روجر الثاني بناء على طلبه يُعرف العمل أيضاً في العربية باسم كتاب روجر وفي اللاتينية باسم تابيولا روجريانا، وقد ضمنه كل ما عرفه الأقدمون من معلومات سليمة، وأضاف إليها ما اكتسبه هو وما رآه ورصده في رحلاتهِ واختباراتهِ، وقد ظل هذا الكتاب مرجعاً لعلماء أوروبا مدة زادت على 300 سنة، ويحتوي على حوالي ألف وسبعين خريطة، وقد حققه المستشرق أومبرتو ريتستانو
Translation
Nuzhat al-Mushtaq fi Penetrating the Horizons, or Roger’s Book, is a travel book written by al-Idrisi. This book is considered a geographical encyclopedia of the world in the twelfth century. Al-Idrisi wrote this book for King Roger II at his request. The work is also known in Arabic as the Book of Roger and in Latin as the Tapiola Rogeriana. It contained all the sound information that the ancients knew, and added to it what he had acquired and what he had seen and observed in his travels and tests. This book remained a reference for European scholars for more than 300 years, and it contains about one thousand and seventy maps, and it was verified by the orientalist Umberto Restano.
