كتاب «التعريف بالإسلام» من تأليف مجموعة من المؤلفين يُعنى بتقديم شرح شامل للقرآن الكريم من حيث تعريفه، أسمائه، حفظه من التحريف، آداب تلاوته، فضله ومكانته، إضافة إلى استعراض مراحل نزوله وتفريقه إلى المكي والمدني وخصائص كل منهما، كما يتناول جمعه وترتيبه في المصحف. يندرج الكتاب ضمن فئة الدعوة وأحوال المسلمين، ويستند إلى محتوى مشروع مركز قطر للتعريف بالإسلام، مستهدفاً القارئ المهتم بفهم القرآن وتعاليمه. يضم الكتاب فصولاً توضح أوجه الفضل في تلاوة القرآن، ومقاصد الوحي، ومراحل جمعه، مع إشارة إلى عدد السور والآيات ومقاطعها.
Translation
The book “Introducing Islam,” written by a group of authors, is concerned with providing a comprehensive explanation of the Holy Qur’an in terms of its definition, names, preserving it from distortion, etiquette of its recitation, its virtue and status, in addition to reviewing the stages of its revelation and its division into Meccan and Medinan and the characteristics of each of them. It also deals with its collection and arrangement in the Qur’an. The book falls within the category of advocacy and the conditions of Muslims, and is based on the content of the Qatar Center for Introducing Islam project, targeting the reader interested in understanding the Qur’an and its teachings. The book includes chapters that explain the merits of reciting the Qur’an, the purposes of the revelation, and the stages of its collection, with an indication of the number of surahs and verses and their sections.
