Translation
The book “Social Solidarity” presents the concept of solidarity in Islam as a collective obligation to preserve public and private interests and prevent damages, while clarifying that this duty extends to all members of society, from the individual to the family and the group. The book deals with the scope of solidarity and its various fields, including sponsoring the elderly, the young, and the poor, and caring for the rights of the neighbor and the guest, and reviews the means of Islam to achieve this on the individual and collective levels. The text links these principles with the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, stressing that solidarity is not limited to material benefit but rather includes all the spiritual and intellectual needs of the nation.
