يتناول الكتاب "الاستشراق وجهوده وأهدافه في محاربة الإسلام" موضوع الاستشراق كحركة علمية ظاهرها دراسة التراث الشرقي، بينما باطنها محاربة الإسلام وتشويش دعوته. يبين المؤلف عبد المنعم محمد حسنين كيف يستخدم المستشرقون دراسة اللغات الشرقية، خاصة العربية، كوسيلة لتشويه صورة الإسلام وتخريب ثقافته، عبر نشر المفاهيم الضالة والافتراءات على مصادر التشريع الإسلامي. كما يعرض الجهود المستمرة للاستشراق في نشر التيارات الفكرية المضللة بين المسلمين ومحاربة اللغة العربية، ويقترح وسائل للتصدي لهذه المحاولات وحماية الإسلام من التشويه.
Translation
The book, “Orientalism, Its Efforts, and Its Objectives in Combating Islam,” deals with the subject of Orientalism as a scientific movement whose outward appearance is the study of Eastern heritage, while its inward nature is fighting Islam and distorting its mission. The author, Abdel Moneim Muhammad Hassanein, shows how Orientalists use the study of Eastern languages, especially Arabic, as a means to distort the image of Islam and sabotage its culture, by spreading misguided concepts and slanders on the sources of Islamic legislation. It also presents the ongoing efforts of Orientalism to spread misleading intellectual currents among Muslims and to fight the Arabic language, and suggests ways to confront these attempts and protect Islam from distortion.
