Translation
The book “The Salafist Movement and its Role in Reviving the Sunnah” by Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Fariwi is a historical study of a scientific and reform renaissance that spread in India during the thirteenth century AH. The author reviewed the Sunnah Revival movement led by Imam Al-Nawab Siddiq Hassan Al-Bufali and Mr. Nazir Hussein Al-Dahlawi, and their role in spreading the sciences of hadith and promoting adherence to the Sunnah of the Prophet on the method of the Salaf. The book focuses on the impact of this movement in stimulating interest in hadith sciences and publishing Sunnah books, and its role in saving these sciences from extinction in the era of the weakness of the Islamic state.
