يتناول الكتاب الوحدة الإسلامية من منظور تاريخي وحضاري، مستعرضاً كيف كانت الأمة الإسلامية في القرون الأولى أمةً واحدةً موحدةً ثم كيف تفتقت مع مرور الزمن إلى دول واقتفت أثر ذلك الأقليات الدينية والقومية. يسعى المؤلف لاستكشاف الطرق التي يمكن من خلالها تحقيق الوحدة الإسلامية من جديد، مستنداً على رصيد الإسلام العقدي والشعائري والتشريعي المشترك بين المسلمين، مع الأخذ بعين الاعتبار التغيرات الحالية في الأحوال والملابسات.
Translation
The book deals with Islamic unity from a historical and civilizational perspective, reviewing how the Islamic nation in the first centuries was one unified nation and then how it split into states over time, followed by religious and national minorities. The author seeks to explore the ways in which Islamic unity can be achieved again, based on the common doctrinal, ritual and legislative balance of Islam among Muslims, taking into account the current changes in conditions and circumstances.
