Translation
The book “Human Rights in Islam” by Tahir Ahmad Maulana Jamal al-Layl deals with the topic of human rights from an Islamic perspective, reviewing the principles and values on which these rights are based in Islamic law. The book addresses various aspects of human rights such as cultural, social, political, civil and economic rights, with a focus on equality between people and the embodiment of these rights in practice. It also sheds light on the development of the idea of human rights throughout history and compares it to what is stated in Islam, considering it the final religion that carries these rights in its texts and rulings.
