يهدف هذا الكتاب إلى نفي الاتهامات التي توجه للإسلام بأنه دين عنفي وإرهابي، ويدحض تلك الدعاوى التي تروجها بعض الجهات المعادية للإسلام في أوروبا وغيرها. يركز المؤلف عبد العظيم المطعني على سماحة الإسلام في الدعوة إلى الله والعلاقات مع الآخرين، مستعرضاً آيات من القرآن الكريم وأحداثاً من السيرة النبوية لبيان أن الإسلام دين سمح يدعو إلى التعايش السلمي مع أهل الكتاب والمشركين. كما يتناول الكتاب مواقف الدعوة الإسلامية السلمية في العهد المدني ويدافع عن صورة الإسلام كدين يحترم الحريات وينادي بالتسامح والوئام بين الناس.
Translation
This book aims to refute the accusations directed against Islam that it is a violent and terrorist religion, and refutes those claims promoted by some anti-Islamic parties in Europe and elsewhere. The author, Abdul-Azim Al-Mutani, focuses on the tolerance of Islam in calling to God and relationships with others, reviewing verses from the Holy Qur’an and events from the Prophet’s biography to show that Islam is a tolerant religion that calls for peaceful coexistence with the People of the Book and the polytheists. The book also addresses the positions of peaceful Islamic advocacy in the civil era and defends the image of Islam as a religion that respects freedoms and calls for tolerance and harmony among people.
