Translation

This book, “Ghayat al-Maqsud fi refutation to the Christians and the Jews” by Al-Samawal bin Yahya Al-Maghribi, deals with refuting the falsehoods of the Christians and Jews and refuting their statements that contradict religious truths. The author focuses on proving the validity of Islam and abrogating its previous laws, drawing inferences from the same biblical texts on which they rely, and aims to support them with rational and transmissional argument. The book also dissects some of their wrong beliefs and their changes in religious texts, while highlighting the virtues of Islam and the prophecy of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
