ماذا خسر العالم بانحطاط المسلمين هو كتاب ألفه المفكر والداعية الإسلامي أبو الحسن الندوي، وهو يدور حول فكرة مهمة، وهي دور الإسلام في قيادة البشرية، وتأثير تراجع دور المسلمين على العالم. تكلم المؤلف عن حال العالم قبل الإسلام شرقه وغربه، عربه وعجمه، وبيَّن أنه كان يعيش في ظلام دامس، حتى جاءت رسالة الإسلام، والتي حوَّلت العرب الوثنيين، المفرقين، المتنازعين فيما بينهم، إلى أمة، بل خير أمة أخرجت للناس، {كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ...} (110) سورة آل عمران.
Translation
What did the world lose with the decline of Muslims? It is a book written by the Islamic thinker and preacher Abu al-Hasan al-Nadawi. It revolves around an important idea, which is the role of Islam in leading humanity, and the impact of the decline in the role of Muslims on the world. The author spoke about the state of the world before Islam, its East and its West, its Arabs and its non-Arabs, and explained that it was living in complete darkness, until the message of Islam came, which transformed the pagan Arabs, who were divided and quarreling among themselves, into a nation, in fact, the best nation brought forth for mankind. {You were the best nation brought forth for mankind, enjoining what is right And you forbid evil and believe in God...} (110) Surah Al Imran.
