كتاب "الأثبات في مخطوطات الأئمة" لعلي بن عبد العزيز الشبل هو عمل في فهارس الكتب والأدلة، يهدف إلى الدلالة والإرشاد إلى تصانيف ثلاثة من أئمة الإسلام: شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية، والعلامة ابن القيم، والحافظ ابن رجب. جمع المؤلف أسماء مخطوطاتهم من بطون فهارس المخطوطات ورفوفها، مبيناً اسم كل كتاب ووصفاً لعدد أوراقه وسنة نسخه ومكان حفظه ورقمه، وقد رتب المخطوطات لكل إمام على حدة. يبدأ الكتاب بمقدمة وتوطئة تشرح المنهج المتبع، ثم ينتقل إلى ثبت بمخطوطات شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية، متضمناً ترجمة له من ذيل تاريخ الإسلام للذهبي، ويستعرض فهرساً لمؤلفاته مرتبةً ترتيباً أبجدياً.

Translation

The book “Proof in the Manuscripts of the Imams” by Ali bin Abdul Aziz Al-Shibl is a work in indexes of books and evidence, aiming to indicate and guide the writings of three imams of Islam: Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, the scholar Ibn Al-Qayyim, and Al-Hafiz Ibn Rajab. The author collected the names of their manuscripts from the manuscript indexes and shelves, indicating the name of each book, a description of the number of its pages, the year of its publication, the place of preservation, and its number. He arranged the manuscripts for each imam separately. The book begins with an introduction and preface explaining the approach followed, then moves to the manuscripts of Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, including a translation of him from the footer of The History of Islam by al-Dhahabi, and presents an index of his works arranged alphabetically.
