هذا كتاب فهرسي يُعنى بجمع أسماء أهم كتب التراجم المطبوعة قديمها وحديثها، وترتيبها على حروف المعجم ليسهل الوصول إليها. يهدف المؤلف من خلاله إلى تسهيل معرفة هذه المصنفات، والتمييز بين ما حقق منها وما لم يحقق، مع الإشارة إلى صلتها الوثيقة بعلم التاريخ. يبدأ الكتاب بمقدمة تؤكد على أهمية كتب التراجم وقيمتها العلمية والتاريخية والوعظية.

Translation

This is an index book concerned with collecting the names of the most important printed biographical books, ancient and modern, and arranging them according to the letters of the dictionary for easy access. Through it, the author aims to facilitate knowledge of these works, distinguish between what has been verified and what has not been verified, while pointing out their close connection to the science of history. The book begins with an introduction that emphasizes the importance of biographical books and their scientific, historical, and preaching value.
