Translation
This book, “Fatwas of Sheikh Ibn Jibreen,” is a collection of fatwas written by Sheikh Ibn Jibreen in the field of Islamic jurisprudence. The book covers a wide range of topics, including wiping over the socks, the principles of jurisprudence, the call to prayer, etiquette, foods, oaths and vows, selling, interpretation, Hajj, punishments, breastfeeding, testimonies, prayer, fasting, divorce, purity, number, belief, religious duties, dress and adornment, the disabled and the senseless, expenses, marriage, Ramadan fatwas, and evidence on the obligation of Zakat, the money on which zakat is due, offering and delaying zakat, the ruling on denying the obligation of zakat and the ruling on preventing it out of miserliness or ingratitude, the wisdom of legislating zakat, and the zakat on crops and fruits that come out of the land. The book is an important source of Islamic fatwas, and reflects Sheikh Ibn Jibreen's interest in jurisprudence and fatwas.
