أَخصَرُ المُختَصَرات () هو أحد المتون المُعتمدة في المذهب الحنبلي، من تأليف ابن بَلْبان الدمشقي الحنبلي (1006- 1083هـ / 1598- 1672م) اختصره من كتابه كافي المبتدي. لم يُصرِّح ابن بلبان بتاريخ بداية كتابته لأخصر المختصرات، ولكن ذُكر في أقدم نسخة له أن تاريخ انتهائها في نهار الأربعاء 16 رمضان 1054هـ، أي قبل وفاته بتسعٍ وعشرينَ سنة. وصرَّح في مقدِّمة الكتاب أن سبب تأليفه لأخصر المختصرات هو اختصار كتابه كافي المبتدي حتى يسهُلَ حفظه على المبتدئين، وصرَّح باسم الكتاب في مقدِّمته وسمَّاه "أخصر المختصرات". …

Translation

Akhtar al-Mukhtasarat () is one of the approved texts in the Hanbali school of thought, written by Ibn Balban al-Dimashqi al-Hanbali (1006-1083 AH / 1598-1672 AD). He summarized it from his book Kafi al-Mubtadi. Ibn Balban did not declare the date of the beginning of his writing of the shortest abbreviations, but it was stated in his oldest copy that the date of its completion was on the day of Wednesday, Ramadan 16, 1054 AH, that is, twenty-nine years before his death. He stated in the introduction to the book that the reason for writing “The Shortest Acronyms” was to shorten his book “Kafi Al-Mubtadi” so that it would be easier for beginners to memorize. He stated the name of the book in his introduction and called it “The Shortest Acronyms.” …
