كتاب "عمدة الفقه" هو مختصر في الفقه على المذهب الحنبلي، جمعه المؤلف موفق الدين المقدسي واقتصر فيه على قول واحد ليكون عمدة لقارئه، بعيدًا عن اختلاف الوجوه والروايات. يبدأ الكتاب بباب الطهارة وأحكام المياه والآنية والوضوء والغسل، ثم ينتقل إلى كتاب الصلاة وما يتعلق بها من شروط وأركان وواجبات وسجود سهو وصلاة تطوع وجماعة وجمعة وعيدين، ويليه كتاب الجنائز وكتاب الزكاة. وقد أودع المؤلف في الكتاب أحاديث صحيحة اعتمادًا عليها، مستغنيًا عن نسبتها إلى مظانها.

Translation

The book “Umdat al-Fiqh” is a summary of jurisprudence according to the Hanbali school of thought, compiled by the author Muwaffaq al-Din al-Maqdisi, in which he limited himself to one saying to serve as a guide for his reader, far from the differences in faces and narrations. The book begins with the chapter on purity, the provisions of water and utensils, ablution, and washing, then it moves to the book of prayer and the conditions, pillars, and obligations related to it, prostration of forgetfulness, voluntary prayer, congregational prayer, Friday prayers, and two Eids, followed by the book of funerals and the book of zakat. The author has deposited authentic hadiths in the book based on them, dispensing with attributing them to their meanings.
