About this work

Translation

Matalib Uli al-Nuha fi Sharh Ghaya al-Muntaha, which is the only complete explanation of the text of al-Ghaya, was written by Mustafa al-Suyuti al-Ruhibani, and he combined in his explanation what Mansour al-Bahuti said in his explanation of “Al-Muntaha” and “Al-Iqna’,” adhering to that for the most part, and was not limited to that only. But he also had good investigations, research, and sayings on “refinement,” “persuasion,” and “ultimacy.” Pointing out what Mar’i, the author of Al-Ghaya, did not point out about the dispute between “persuasion” and “ultimate”, and also correcting some of that. As for Mar’i’s trends, his solution to many of them is clear consideration, and Al-Shatti has tracked him down.
