About this work

كتاب "الذخيرة" للقرافي هو مؤلف مبتكر في الفقه المالكي، يجمع بين فروع المذهب وأصوله، ويعد من أهم المصنفات الفقهية في القرن السابع الهجري. يبدأ الكتاب بمقدمة عن فضيلة العلم وآدابه، ثم يتناول موضوعات أصول الفقه كالحدود والدلالات والحقيقة والمجاز والتخصيص، بالإضافة إلى أبواب في معاني الحروف وتعارض مقتضيات الألفاظ. يهدف المؤلف من خلال هذا العمل إلى تقديم محتوى نظري خصب وأدلة اجتهادية حية، بعيدًا عن الاختصارات المفرطة التي سادت في عصره.

Translation

The book “Al-Dhakhira” by Al-Qarafi is an innovative work in Maliki jurisprudence, combining the branches of the doctrine and its origins, and is considered one of the most important jurisprudential works in the seventh century AH. The book begins with an introduction to the virtue of knowledge and its etiquette, then deals with topics of the principles of jurisprudence, such as limits, connotations, truth, metaphor, and specification, in addition to chapters on the meanings of letters and the contradiction of the requirements of words. Through this work, the author aims to provide fertile theoretical content and vivid diligent evidence, far from the excessive abbreviations that prevailed in his time.
