المقدمة الحضرمية في فقه السادة الشافعية المسمى مختصر بافَضل أو المختصر الكبير أو مسائل التعليم، كتاب مختصر جامع في فقه الشافعية، مؤلفه الفقيه عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بافضل الحضرمي (850 - 981 هـ). وهو كتاب مشهور عند طلاب الفقه الشافعي، وهو متداول جدًا، ورغم اختصاره فقد كثرت عليه شروح العلماء وحواشيهم المطبوعة والمخطوطة، وكتب له الذيوع في أصقاع المعمورة. وهذا المتن الذي ذاع صيتُه، واستفاد منه القاصي والداني، قد تميَّز بوضوح أسلوبه، مع تدقيق وتحقيق في مسائله. لذا فقد كتب له القبول والانتشار في أغلب البلدان. ويعتبر من أهم المختصرات في الفقه الشافعي لما اشتمل عليه من الضوابط الفقهية. …

The Hadhrami introduction to the jurisprudence of the Shafi’i masters, called Mukhtasar Ba Fadl, or Al-Mukhtasar Al-Kabir, or Education Issues, a comprehensive summary book on Shafi’i jurisprudence, authored by the jurist Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman Ba Fadl Al-Hadrami (850 - 981 AH). It is a well-known book among students of Shafi’i jurisprudence, and it is widely circulated. Despite its brevity, scholars’ explanations of it and their printed and manuscript footnotes abound, and it has been published in books all over the world. This text, which became famous and benefited from far and near, was distinguished by the clarity of its style, with scrutiny and investigation of its issues. Therefore, it was accepted and spread in most countries. It is considered one of the most important abbreviations in Shafi’i jurisprudence because of the jurisprudential controls it contains. …
