Translation

The book “Al-Muhadhdhab fi Jurisprudence of Imam Al-Shafi’i” by Abu Ishaq Al-Shirazi is a work of jurisprudence based on the Shafi’i school of thought. Its author aims to mention the principles of the school of thought with their evidence, along with an explanation of the issues emanating from it and their reasons. The book begins with an introduction and then covers the book of purity comprehensively, examining the types of water and their rulings, utensils, ablution, washing, ablution, menstruation, and removing impurity. Then it moves to the book of prayer to discuss its timings and rulings.
