كتاب "حلية العلماء في معرفة مذاهب الفقهاء" لأبي بكر الشاشي هو موسوعة فقهية على المذهب الشافعي، جمع فيها المؤلف أقوال العلماء واختلافاتهم في مسائل الفقه، مبتدئًا بأبواب الطهارة كالمياه والوضوء والتيمم والمسح على الخفين والحيض والنفاس. يهدف الكتاب إلى تقديم مذهب كل مجتهد وطريقته في الاجتهاد، مع ذكر القولين والروايتين للشافعي وغيره، ليكون مرجعًا جامعًا للمذاهب الفقهية.

Translation

The book “Hilyat al-Ulama fi Ma’rifat al-Mazhab al-Fuqaha’” by Abu Bakr al-Shashi is a jurisprudential encyclopedia based on the Shafi’i school of thought, in which the author collected the sayings of scholars and their differences in matters of jurisprudence, beginning with the chapters of purity such as water, ablution, tayammum, wiping over the socks, menstruation, and postpartum. The book aims to present the doctrine of every diligent person and his method of ijtihad, while mentioning the two sayings and narrations of Al-Shafi’i and others, to be a comprehensive reference for the schools of jurisprudence.
