نهاية المطلب في دراية المذهب أكبر كتاب مطبوع في الفقه الشافعي، مؤلفه أبو المعالي الجويني عبد الملك بن عبد الله بن يوسف بن محمد الجويني ركن الدين، الملقب بإمام الحرمين، المتوفى سنة 478هـ، وهو شرح لمختصر المزني، جمع فيه مؤلفه محتوى المذهب الشافعي، بطريق التحقيق فيه، يعد من أهم كتب المذهب، وقد اعتمده فقهاء الشافعية، وأخذوا منه، ووضعوا له المختصرات والشروح.

Translation

Nihayat al-Muttalib fi Dirayah al-Madhab is the largest printed book on Shafi’i jurisprudence. It was written by Abu al-Ma’ali al-Juwayni Abd al-Malik ibn Abdullah ibn Yusuf ibn Muhammad al-Juwayni Rukn al-Din, nicknamed the Imam of the Two Holy Mosques, who died in the year 478 AH. It is an explanation of the summary of al-Muzani, in which its author collected the content of the Shafi’i doctrine, by investigating it. It is considered one of the most important books of the doctrine, and Shafi’i jurists have adopted it, taken from it, and provided abbreviations and explanations for it.
