الأوسط في السنن والإجماع والاختلاف هو كتاب فقهي، ألفه الإمام ابن المنذر النيسابوري (241 هـ - 318 هـ). يعد الكتاب مختصرا لكتاب آخر للمؤلف وهو السنن المبسوط، قسم المؤلف الكتاب إلى كتب فقهية، على عادة من يؤلف في علم الفقه، ولكنه لم يبوب للمسائل داخل الكتاب الواحد، بل كان يذكر عناوين ويسوق تحتها المسائل التي يريد الحديث عنها، وكان يبدأ بذكر المسألة الفقهية، ثم يذكر بعدها الدليل من كتاب الله، ثم يثني بإيراد الأحاديث، يعد الكتاب مرجعا هاما لمن يريد الوقوف على مذاهب أهل العلم في مسائل الفقه، وقد بلغ عدد النصوص الواردة بالكتاب 3345 نص، تتنوع بين أحاديث مرفوعة وآثار موقوفة على الصحابة والتابعين.
Translation
Al-Awsat fi Sunan, Consensus, and Differences is a jurisprudential book, written by Imam Ibn al-Mundhir al-Naysaburi (241 AH - 318 AH). The book is considered a summary of another book by the author, which is Al-Sunan Al-Mabsoot. The author divided the book into jurisprudential books, as is the custom of those who write about the science of jurisprudence, but he did not classify the issues within one book. Rather, he mentioned titles and listed under them the issues that he wanted to talk about. He would begin by mentioning the jurisprudential issue, then mention the evidence from the Book of God, then add the hadiths. The book is an important reference for those who want to learn about the doctrines of scholars in matters of jurisprudence, and the number of texts contained in the book has reached 3345 texts, varying between hadiths with chain of transmission and traceable hadiths attributed to the Companions and followers.
