كتاب "الاعتماد في نظائر الظاء والضاد" لابن مالك هو معجم لغوي متخصص في التفريق بين الكلمات التي تُكتب وتُنطق بالحرفين المتشابهين (الظاء والضاد) لضبط النطق والكتابة الصحيحة. ينتظم الكتاب على أبواب مرتبة بحسب حروف المعجم، فيذكر لكل حرف زوجاً من الكلمات المتشابهة في اللفظ والمختلفة في المعنى بحسب الحرف، مع شرح معنى كل كلمة مستشهداً بالقرآن الكريم والحديث النبوي والشعر العربي وأقوال اللغويين. يهدف المؤلف من خلال هذا التأليف إلى توضيح الفروق الدقيقة بين الألفاظ التي قد تلتبس على المتكلم أو الكاتب، مما يجعله مرجعاً مهماً في علم اللغة وفقهها.
Translation
The book “Al-I`timad fi Naza’ir al-dha’ and al-dha’” by Ibn Malik is a linguistic dictionary that specializes in differentiating between words that are written and pronounced with the two similar letters (tha’ and dha’) in order to control correct pronunciation and writing. The book is organized into sections arranged according to the letters of the dictionary. For each letter, it mentions a pair of words that are similar in pronunciation but different in meaning according to the letter, with an explanation of the meaning of each word, citing the Holy Qur’an, the Prophet’s hadith, Arabic poetry, and the sayings of linguists. Through this book, the author aims to clarify the subtle differences between words that may confuse the speaker or writer, which makes it an important reference in linguistics and jurisprudence.
