الفروق في اللغة، كتاب في مفردات اللغة صنفه أبو هلال الحسن بن عبد الله بن سهل بن سعيد بن يحيى بن مهران العسكري، يعتبر مرجع من المعاجم مراجع اللغة العربية عند علماء اللغة، يحتوي على الكثير من المعلومات اللغوية في معاني الكلمات. قال في مقدمة الكتاب: لقد خصّصه بشرح الكلمات المتقاربة المعنى وتفسير لطائف الفرق بينهم.مثل: الفرق بين النعمة والرحمة والإحسان والانعام، وبين الحلم والإمهال، والصبر والاحتمال، والوقار والسؤدد. ومثل: الفرق بين الحفظ والرعاية والحراسة والحماية. ومثل: الفرق بين الكتب والنسخ وبين المنشور والكتاب وبين الكتاب والدفتر والصحيفة.

Translation

Differences in Language, a book on language vocabulary compiled by Abu Hilal Al-Hasan bin Abdullah bin Sahl bin Saeed bin Yahya bin Mahran Al-Askari. It is considered a reference of Arabic language dictionaries by linguists. It contains a lot of linguistic information regarding the meanings of words. He said in the introduction to the book: He devoted it to explaining words that are close in meaning and explaining the many differences between them, such as: the difference between grace and mercy, benevolence and cattle, between forbearance and respite, patience and endurance, dignity and steadfastness. For example: the difference between preservation, care, guarding, and protection. For example: the difference between books and copies, between a publication and a book, and between a book, a notebook, and a newspaper.
