النهاية في غريب الحديث والأثر هو كتاب ألفه مجد الدين المبارك بن محمد بن عبد الكريم الشيباني الجزري المعروف بابن الأثير لشرح الألفاظ الغريبة الواردة في الأحاديث، خصوصًا بعد دخول الأعاجم في الإسلام. قام فيه بدمج كتابين سابقين في هذا المجال، وأضاف إليهما.
Translation
Al-Nihayah fi Ghareeb al-Hadith wa al-Athar is a book written by Majd al-Din al-Mubarak bin Muhammad bin Abdul Karim al-Shaybani al-Jazari, known as Ibn al-Atheer, to explain the strange words mentioned in hadiths, especially after the non-Arabs entered Islam. In it, he combined two previous books in this field, and added to them.
