هذا الكتاب هو تحقيق وتخريج لكتاب "العلل ومعرفة الرجال" لأحمد بن حنبل، رواية ابنه عبد الله. يتناول الكتاب مقدمة تمهيدية تشمل معرفة الرجال والجرح والتعديل، ثم ينتقل إلى ترجمة مختصرة للإمام أحمد ووصف للكتاب. يحتوي الكتاب على سبعة أجزاء تتضمن دراسة العلل وتحليل روايات الأحاديث ومعرفة الرجال من الناحية النقدية.
Translation
This book is an investigation and conclusion of the book “Illnesses and Knowledge of Men” by Ahmed bin Hanbal, a narration by his son Abdullah. The book covers an introductory introduction that includes knowledge of men, al-Jarh, and al-Ta'deel, and then moves on to a brief translation of Imam Ahmad and a description of the book. The book contains seven parts that include studying the causes, analyzing hadith narrations, and knowing men from a critical perspective.
