Translation

The book “Al-Mawdoo’at” by Ibn Al-Jawzi is a work of hadith science, which falls under the category of “Reasons and Questions”, and is specialized in collecting false and fabricated hadiths about the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. The book begins with an introduction about the importance of the Prophetic Sunnah and an explanation of the danger of lying to the Messenger of God. Then, it lists the hadiths arranged in various jurisprudential sections, including monotheism, faith, acts of worship, transactions, and others, with the aim of purifying the Prophetic Sunnah from any similar fabrication or fabrication.
