يتناول هذا الكتاب موضوع الحسبة في الإسلام، ويستعرض تطبيقاتها التاريخية في الدولة السعودية منذ نشأتها الأولى وحتى العصر الحديث في المملكة العربية السعودية. يبدأ المؤلف بتعريف الحسبة وبيان مشروعيتها وحكمها الشرعي، ثم يقدم لمحة عن الحالة الدينية والاجتماعية في الجزيرة العربية قبل قيام الدولة السعودية الأولى، مع التركيز على شيوع المنكرات والفساد. يخصص الكتاب فصولاً متتالية لدراسة دور الحسبة في كل مرحلة من مراحل الدولة السعودية، موضحاً منهجها في الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر.
Translation
This book deals with the subject of hisbah in Islam, and reviews its historical applications in the Saudi state from its early inception until the modern era in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The author begins by defining the hisba and explaining its legitimacy and legal rule, then provides an overview of the religious and social situation in the Arabian Peninsula before the establishment of the first Saudi state, with a focus on the prevalence of evil and corruption. The book devotes successive chapters to studying the role of the Hisbah in every stage of the Saudi state, explaining its approach to enjoining good and forbidding evil.
