About this work

كتاب "أحكام الجنائز" للمحدث ناصر الدين الألباني، وهو مصنف في فقه الجنائز وما يتعلق بها من أحكام شرعية مستمدة من هدي النبي محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم. يبدأ الكتاب ببيان ما يجب على المريض وتلقين المحتضر، ثم ينتقل إلى أحكام الغسل والتكفين والصلاة على الجنازة والدفن والتعزية، مع تفصيل لبدع الجنائز التي تخالف السنة النبوية. يهدف المؤلف إلى إقامة العبودية لله في معاملة الميت على أكمل وجه، والإحسان إليه وإلى أهله، وفق ما ورد في الكتاب والسنة.

Translation

The book “Ahkam al-Fanaaz” by the hadith scholar Nasir al-Din al-Albani, which is a book on the jurisprudence of funerals and the legal rulings related to them derived from the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace. The book begins with an explanation of what is required of the sick person and instructing the dying person, then moves on to the provisions of washing, shrouding, praying at the funeral, burial and condolence, with a detail of funeral innovations that contradict the Sunnah of the Prophet. The author aims to establish servitude to God in treating the dead in the best possible way, and being kind to him and his family, in accordance with what is stated in the Qur’an and Sunnah.
