About this work

هذا كتاب في الآداب الإسلامية، جمع فيه مؤلفه أبوابًا تتعلق بحفظ اللسان وفضل الصمت، وذم فضول الكلام والغيبة والنميمة والمراء والخصومات والكذب، مع بيان ما ينبغي للمسلم أن يتحلى به من الصدق والوفاء بالوعد وحفظ السر، وذلك كله مسندًا بأحاديث وآثار.

Translation

This is a book on Islamic etiquette, in which its author collected sections related to guarding the tongue and the virtue of silence, and condemning loose speech, backbiting, gossiping, hypocrisy, quarrels, and lying, while explaining what a Muslim should have of honesty, fulfillment of promises, and keeping secrets, all of which is supported by hadiths and narrations.
