كتاب "القناعة والتعفف" لابن أبي الدنيا هو مؤلف في الرقائق والزهد، يجمع أحاديث نبوية وآثارًا عن الصحابة والسلف تحث على ترك مسألة الناس والاستغناء عنهم، وتبين فضل التعفف والقناعة بالرزق، مع ذكر ما ورد من حكم ومواعظ في التوكل على الله والرضا بالقسمة.

Translation

The book “Contentment and Chastity” by Ibn Abi Al-Dunya is a book on gentleness and asceticism. It collects prophetic hadiths and narrations from the Companions and predecessors urging people to abandon the affairs of people and do without them, and explaining the virtue of chastity and contentment with one’s livelihood, while mentioning the rulings and sermons received regarding trust in God and contentment with the division.
