كتاب "المنامات" لابن أبي الدنيا هو مجموعة من الأحاديث والآثار التي تتناول أحوال الأموات والبرزخ، وعلاقة الأحياء بهم. يركّز الكتاب على موضوعات مثل عرض أعمال الأحياء على الموتى، ومعرفة الميت بمن يغسله ويزوره، وحال الروح بعد خروجها، مستشهدًا بأخبار ومنامات الصالحين. يجمع المصنف في هذا العمل روايات مسندة تهدف إلى تذكير القارئ بالآخرة وأحوال القبور، مما يجعله من كتب الرقائق والوعظ في التراث الإسلامي.
Translation
The book “Dreams” by Ibn Abi Al-Dunya is a collection of hadiths and narrations that deal with the conditions of the dead and the barzakh, and the relationship of the living with them. The book focuses on topics such as presenting the deeds of the living to the dead, knowing the dead person who washes him and visits him, and the condition of the soul after its departure, citing news and dreams of the righteous. In this work, the work collects chain of narrations aimed at reminding the reader of the afterlife and the conditions of the graves, making it one of the books of enlightenment and preaching in the Islamic heritage.
