كتاب "ذم المسكر" لابن أبي الدنيا هو مصنف في التحذير من الخمر وكل مسكر، يجمع فيه المؤلف أحاديث نبوية وآثارًا عن الصحابة والتابعين تبيّن حرمة الخمر وكونها أم الخبائث ومفتاح الكبائر. يتناول الكتاب تعريف المسكرات وأنواعها، ويؤكد على أن كل مسكر خمر وحرام، مع سرد قصص وعبر عن سوء عاقبة شربها.
Translation
The book “The Condemnation of Intoxicants” by Ibn Abi Al-Dunya is a book about warning against alcohol and every intoxicant. In it, the author collects prophetic hadiths and traces from the Companions and Followers clarifying the prohibition of alcohol and that it is the mother of all evils and the key to major sins. The book deals with the definition of intoxicants and their types, and emphasizes that every intoxicant is alcohol and forbidden, while narrating stories and expressing the bad consequences of drinking them.
