Al-Tibyan fi the Sections of the Qur’an or Al-Tibyan fi the Faiths of the Qur’an is a book written by Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah (691 AH 751 AH - 1292 AH 1349). The book deals with all the places in which the oath was mentioned explicitly or implicitly in the Holy Qur’an, beginning with the verses and presenting them from the end of the Qur’an to the beginning, discussing and clarifying the interpretation of the verses in the short surahs that begin with the oath until its end, and explaining the relationship of the oath in the surah to the one it is sworn to.
